Ashley was born a month ahead of schedule, and weighed about 3lbs. The hospital stay she was in the ICU was for a whole month. Then, on Christmas Day she was told by her parents that she would need heart operation. The prayers of her parents were answered on Christmas Day when they went to the doctors and learned that Ashley's heart had been shut. Ashley was never in need of any operations. With a weight of 4 1/2 pounds, Ashley was released from the hospital following two stays in hospital. Since her release, she's never had any illness! Her father is English-German. Her mother is from Ireland. Ashley's acting debut came in a commercial to promote the Salon Surprise Barbie Doll from 2002. Ashley was then contacted by The Ford Modeling Agency at the age of 8. In print, she is consistent and stays at the Agency. She was a performer since she was 10. Ashley began her professional career in 35 commercials before moving on to roles in the theatre. Ashley is now a zealous for acting. Ashley was able to focus all her energy on her acting. That left very few hours for modeling or dancing. Ashley's last role on ABC Family Pretty Little Liars was as "Hanna Marin". Ashley also had a cameo as Romeo Miller (aka Lil Romeo) and Solange's music video for the track "True Love". Ashley shot a picture alongside Britney Spears for Vogue Magazine. The singer is featured in the NLT's music video "That Girl".
