Angie Harmon (born Angie Harmon) is an American model and actor. She has appeared on a variety of movies and television shows during her professional career. Her first venture was modeling, however after she gained international recognition she decided to take on acting. In 1995, she began acting in the television series "Baywatch Nights". Her voice has been used in a film adaptation of 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' Harmon decided in early 2000 to focus on film work and stop working with television series. She returned to acting in TV shows came after she appeared in a handful of films. She was one of the very few actors to show off naked for The magazine "Allure," in 2008. The character of detective Jane Rizzoli was her most significant work on the TNT series Rizzoli & Isles. For her role as Detective Jane, she was very well-respected and was awarded awards.
